Born in Cambridgeshire, I completed my Foundation Course at Cambridge School of Art, and obtained my B.A ( hons ) Degree in Printed Textiles at Loughborough College of Art and Design.

I have worked as a fabric designer and printer, and have also taught on various Foundation Courses in Bedfordshire, Essex and Surrey.

I currently create richly coloured and textured mixed media collages and small edition run screenprints, and have exhibited my work widely for a number of years.

Some of my great passions are travel (especially to India and South East Asia ), colour, and the paintings of Albert Irvin.
